Biography:
Danial Azizan is a high performance sales, people and partner leader with more than a decade of sales, business development and Cloud advisory experience across multiple MNCs and industries. The first Bruneian full-time to join Microsoft Asia Pacific and Oracle, to lead Governments, enterprises and SMEs in creating an aspirational plan that formalizes their digital vision with Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud platforms and sustainability.
In his role today as the Country Director for Google for Education, he heads Education leadership for Malaysia and Brunei in advocating Google’s investments and partnerships in expanding access for teaching and learning, and arming the next generation of leaders with future-ready skills. In 2020, he was awarded as one of The Most Inspiring LinkedIn Icons in Brunei for his contributions in the areas of Digital Transformation and Leadership.

Biography:
Zulkarnain Asnawi, with more than than 25 years experience in the IT and cybersecurity domains across various vertical industries which include among other FSI, Government, Transportation Telecommunication and Oil & Gas. As a solution consultant and advisor, Zulkarnain has worked with and provide advisory services to many large enterprise executive teams to develop IT and Cybersecurity strategic plan taking into consideration business objectives, risk, compliance, operational processes, human capital and technology. Prior to joining Fortinet Malaysia, Zulkarnain has held leadership roles like senior technology consultant position, Head of IT Strategy and Governance and Head of Enterprise Architecture.
Zulkarnain is also well versed in the field of network connectivity, data center infrastructure and integration; allowing him to share broad perspectives in providing cybersecurity solutions and advisories.
Associate Professor Dr. Quan Guo

Advancing Large Language Models for Low-Resource Languages: Bridging Global AI Innovation with Regional Needs
Biography:
Dr. Quan Guo (born 1987) is an Associate Researcher and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Guangxi Minzu University, and a recipient of the Bagui Young Top Talents Program. He also serves as Chair of the IEEE Chengdu Young Professionals Affinity Group and Council Member of the Artificial Intelligence Society of Sichuan Province. He earned his Ph.D. from Sichuan University under Prof. Yi Zhang and completed postdoctoral research on large language models at Michigan State University and Tulane University.
His research interests include AI, neural networks, intelligent medicine, and large language models for low-resource languages. Dr. Guo has published 30+ papers, received 800+ citations, and won awards including the MAIS 2019 AI Impact Award and Best Paper Awards from IEEE Chengdu Section and the Sichuan Computer Federation. He led the first deployment of Deepseek R1 in Guangxi and the Chinese–ASEAN Large Language Model Project.

Biography:
Associate Professor Dr. Marek Bundzel, PhD. is active at Technical University in Košice, Slovakia, Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence. He has conducted research at several research institutions abroad for example Danish Hydroinformatics Institute, University of Pavia, Italy or Czech Technical University, Prague. He spent two years at Waseda University, Tokyo developing an implementation of a Hierarchical Temporal Memory model of brain function under a scholarship of Japan Society for Promotion of Science.
His research focuses on computer vision, mainly in biomedicine and archaeology. He was leading investigator and a researcher in several national and international projects, such as investigator in several international and national projects, such as Processing and analysis of ultrasonography video sequences using artificial intelligence methods, Adaptive rehabilitation and diagnostics platform or Searching for the lost Mayan city.
